This new facility houses the National Guard mission, NC Emergency Operations Center, Statewide Transportation Center, and the Highway Patrol’s Regional Communications Center. The challenge was creating a technology / AV infrastructure that would facilitate real-time efforts to multiple agencies in the building. In addition to acoustical consulting, TA’s design solutions included a large projection video wall and an expandable video wall for staff to view a large number of camera feeds, high resolution computer/video sources as well as having camera enlargement and focus capabilities.
