This Multi-Agency Facility consists of 34,000 sf. and was designed to accommodate the Emergency Manager, Emergency Medical Services, Fire and E.M.S. Dispatch / Communications and as an EOC with an enhanced incident Command Center. It is one of the first facilities designed to meet criteria for a “near absolute” facility, exceeding that mandated for a Category 6 Hurricane. TA designed the acoustical environment in the main emergency operations meeting room and command conference room along with decreasing the transfer of noise from mechanical rooms into the lobby area.
